TransformationA slender wisp, like a newborn lamb, there appeared the child Her eyes were bright, her mind was sharp and her voice inspired Unknown to her, though, the wordsmith’s gift she hath acquired But her words were not tempered and their sensations ran wildTransformation
With a whispered song and a decadent dance she beguiled She thought the path of love and beauty was what she desired However, she sought Him, her words poured forth as the gift fired Now unsure of where paths would lead, as He upon her smiled
The emotions swelled and she directed them through her quill Words flowed from her soul,


Five YearsI was very young and in life was untried Over time I found myself lonely and sad-eyed My older sister led me to you in her resolve To see her innocent younger sister much involve You and I, we knew each other but only briefly From our sworn vows to Nature’s duty and city As result, my sister’s endeavor you denied And I was unfazed and paid your denial no mind Our separate wheels of time then moved on Night turned to day, shadowy dusk to morning’s dawnFive Years
Five years went, time’s sand fell as we aged I went from lonely to desired to engaged In those days, I thought I kn


BetrayalWithin the circle of time, the wheel of thought True love is desired, wanted and sought Promises unbroken between woman and man Never eroded even after the fall of eternity’s sandBetrayal
However, this lofty ideal and goal is fantasy
The truth is a darker and twisted reality For once the heart is given and taken Betrayal ensures its entirety forever broken
Words and actions cannot repair the damage The shattered vows are caught in pain’s bondage For the deceived, nothing can bring back life’s control Not even death’s release can heal the traumatized soul
